Endurance (Couch to 10KM) is a hybrid running and strength program designed to build aerobic fitness, running confidence, and full-body resilience without sacrificing strength or breaking down along the way.

 

This is not a generic running plan.

 

Most couch-to-10km programs focus purely on mileage and ignore the system underneath – your joints, muscles, posture, and movement capacity. This program was built to develop all of it together.

 

Endurance applies the same professional progression logic used in performance training and rehab, combining intelligent running progression with structured strength and cross-training to create a body that can tolerate, adapt to, and enjoy running.

 

Endurance is ideal for:

Phase 1 – Capacity & Control

 

  • You’ll build an aerobic base through walk/jog and easy running while restoring movement control and joint tolerance.
  • Strength and cross-training focus on posture, trunk control, and foundational capacity so your body can handle the repetitive demands of running.

 

Phase 2 – Strength & Load Progression

 

  • Running volume and intensity increase gradually, introducing more structured tempo and speed work.
  • Strength training shifts toward building muscle resilience and load tolerance so your legs, hips, and trunk can support longer and faster efforts.

 

Phase 3 – Performance & Resilience

 

  • The final phase integrates endurance, speed, and strength so your running feels efficient, confident, and repeatable.
  • Training tapers strategically to reduce fatigue while maintaining sharpness, leading into your 10km run fully prepared.

 

Across the full 12 weeks, distance, intensity, and supporting strength work are planned and progressed for you. Decisions around when to push, when to hold, and when to recover are built into the system so you’re never guessing.

 

All training is delivered through the app, with clear weekly structure, guided progression, and optional cross-training to support recovery and consistency.
